The USSPG is collaborating with Drug Free Sport International to provide FREE dietary supplement education to middle school and high school students who may be active in sports and aspiring to play more formal competitive sports throughout their career
How to Use This Handout
This handout was designed to be utilized by doctors offices and schools with youth athletes and parents in mind.
If you are a doctors office or organization who completes sports physicals, this handout is a great handout to round out the visit and remind athletes and parents that dietary supplement use and misuse can impact an athlete’s health.
If you are a school or organization that facilitates youth sports, this handout is a great conversation starter to hear what questions your athletes have about dietary supplements and learn about what they might be exposed to.
