WEBINAR: Drug-Sport Interactions and Considerations for the Competitive Freediver

Join the USSPG for our February Webinar hosted by Education Committee Co-chair, Jessica Beamon, and presenter Dr. Rachel Novak, a pharmacist, freediving instructor, competitive freediver, and performance artist based in Las Vegas, Nevada. She brings a rare combination of clinical pharmacy experience and real-world expertise in diving physiology, travel medicine, and competitive freediving.

After this presentation, participants will be able to:

-Recognize key anatomy and physiology relevant to freediving
-Identify freediving-specific adverse events and contraindications
-Understand competitive freediving disciplines and governing bodies
-Identify medications and substances of concern for competitive freedivers, including anti-doping considerations

This webinar is a great opportunity for pharmacists interested in sports pharmacy, athlete safety, and medication decision-making in unique athletic environments.

This session is not yet available for CE credit.

This webinar is for Member-Only Access. Each member should register separately for their link to attend. Please do not share your link with others. A recording will be available after the presentation for members who register.
