Anabolic Steroids

This continuing education activity is designed for pharmacists seeking to enhance their understanding of anabolic-androgenic steroid (AAS) use in athletic populations. Learners will explore the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) prohibited list criteria, with emphasis on how substances are evaluated based on performance enhancement, athlete safety, and the spirit of sport. The course also examines real-world risks associated with black market AAS, including the prevalence of counterfeit products with inaccurate or harmful ingredients.
