  • In 2024-2025, we will support our vision by:

    • Building a network of like-minded individuals to support the growth and innovation of the USSPG’s initiatives

    • Endorse a Definition for Sports Pharmacy

    • Establish USSPG as a Network within Sports Pharmacy (local, national, global)

    • Bring awareness of Sports Pharmacy to our profession and outside professionals/ communities

    • Establish Processes for USSPG’s long-term sustainability

    • Solidify Ongoing Financial Support

  • Leaders of the USSPG shall value inclusivity, integrity, innovation, and teamwork. As the first sports pharmacy non-profit in the United States, the USSPG is responsible for creating a culture of trust amongst members, sports medicine professionals, athletes, and others who may be involved in our mission.

  • Board members are expected to dedicate 5 to 10 hours a month to supporting our mission. We hope this time is a way for our board members to have a respected outlet in pursuing sports pharmacy related endeavors.

    Committee chairs are expected to dedicate 2 to 5 hours per month leading their committee, collaborating with other committees and ensure their committee initiatives are accomplished.

    Time commitments for other leadership opportunities may vary.

  • The USSPG has a 100% Board Giving policy which requires board members to donate an amount significant to the individual, but within their individual means.
